Īukaieke Rakashu: Sponsorship Opportunities Now Open

Philadelphia, PA – Building institutions that document culture is one of the most important steps a community can take to preserve its history and strengthen its future. Too often, cultural knowledge is celebrated but not consistently recorded, archived, or shared in structured platforms that future generations can build upon.

That is exactly the challenge Īukaieke Rakashu was created to address.

Developed under the Nour Navi initiative, Īukaieke Rakashu is a digital cultural journal dedicated to documenting and amplifying Indigenous Caribbean, Afro-Caribbean, and Latin American diaspora perspectives through reporting, essays, interviews, and cultural analysis.

As the publication prepares for its official launch in Summer 2026, organizations, businesses, and community leaders are invited to participate as founding sponsors supporting the first year of publication.

A Platform for Culture, Knowledge, and Community Leadership

Īukaieke Rakashu functions as more than a magazine. It operates as a cultural documentation platform and knowledge archive, highlighting:

  • Indigenous Caribbean and diaspora heritage

  • Community leadership and cultural preservation

  • Entrepreneurs and small businesses shaping economic progress

  • Scholars, researchers, and cultural voices contributing to diaspora knowledge

While Puerto Rico and the Caribbean serve as key cultural anchors, the publication will also explore broader diaspora experiences across the United States.

Each issue will be distributed as a free digital publication, ensuring accessibility while connecting cultural identity with real systems such as entrepreneurship, workforce development, and long-term economic mobility.

Why Sponsorship Matters

Launching an independent publication requires both vision and support. Sponsorship allows Īukaieke Rakashu to remain accessible while continuing to document the stories, leadership, and cultural knowledge shaping diaspora communities today.

Sponsors help sustain a platform dedicated to:

  • Preserving cultural knowledge and history

  • Elevating underrepresented voices

  • Highlighting diaspora entrepreneurs and organizations

  • Strengthening connections between culture and economic development

Organizations that participate as sponsors will also receive brand visibility within the publication and across promotional channels connected to the Nour Navi network.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorship tiers have been designed to allow organizations of different sizes to participate in the launch year of the publication.

Options include:

  • Quarter Page Sponsor — $150

  • Half Page Sponsor — $300

  • Full Page Sponsor — $600

  • 2026 Launch Partner (Both Issues) — $1,200

  • Presenting Sponsor (Limited) — $2,500

Sponsors receive advertisement placement within the publication as well as recognition through launch communications and promotional outreach.

Growing Audience and Distribution

The launch issue of Īukaieke Rakashu is projected to reach 1,250–3,000 direct digital readers, with additional exposure through social media campaigns, entrepreneurship networks, nonprofit partners, and academic audiences engaged in diaspora research and cultural initiatives.

Combined distribution efforts are expected to generate 5,000–8,000 impressions and readership interactions during the initial release period.

As the platform expands, partnerships with cultural organizations, universities, entrepreneurship ecosystems, and community networks will continue to grow the publication’s reach.

Join the Launch Year

The first issue of Īukaieke Rakashu will be released in Summer 2026, with a second issue scheduled for December 2026. Organizations interested in participating as sponsors for the launch issue should confirm participation by June 1, 2026.

Supporting this publication means supporting a long-term effort to document culture, strengthen diaspora knowledge systems, and highlight the leaders shaping our communities today.
